Overview

Between April and June 2023 Catch Marketplace implemented changes to surface and validate products and product errors using new rules that were added to Mirakl.

This means:

• You may receive a transformation error report stating that your descriptions or titles may have been rejected and will therefore have specific errors.  They will also be delisted.
• There are now new Catch Marketplace Errors all of which can be viewed here in the Catch Partner Portal or in the attached PDF document.
• The Catch Marketplace has also added specific new image validation errors and new IP Addresses

More On Descriptions, Titles and Images

The reason for the rejection is that the descriptions or titles may contain words that are not permitted (seller information, shipping details, price information, promotions, hyperlink, etc.) or if the title or description contains words/descriptions related to products that are not allowed on Catch (e.g. GPS jammer, caffeine powder, gas refill, etc.) 

Here are some error examples.  New Catch validation errors: 

• 2031|The attribute 'product-description' (Description) cannot contain the word(s): price
• 2031|The attribute 'product-description' (Description) cannot contain the word(s): promotion
• 2031|The attribute 'product-description' (Description) cannot contain the word(s): shipping
• 2031|The attribute 'product-description' (Description) cannot contain the word(s): click here
• 2031|The attribute 'product-title' (Title) cannot contain the word(s): price
• IMAGE3 | The URL https://www.xxx provided is invalid or inaccessible
