Overview

Omnivore's API simplifies the integration of Amazon shipping templates into your workflow. This guide outlines the steps to import, assign, and manage your shipping templates effectively.

Setup Steps

  • Import Shipping Templates
    • Go to Settings > Amazon Australia > Shipping.

    • Click Get Shipping Template Data from Amazon.

    • Omnivore will import your existing Amazon shipping templates. See the example below:

  • Assign a Default Template

    • Select one of the imported templates and set it as the default.

    • It's recommended to choose the template already set as default in Amazon.

    • Ensure your default template in Omnivore is not connected to a product group.

  • Assign Product Groups to Templates

    • For other imported templates, edit them and assign the relevant Product Group to each template to ensure accurate shipping settings. See here for how to create Product Groups

  • Sync Template Changes

    • All modifications to shipping templates should be made within Amazon Seller Central.

    • Omnivore will automatically import these changes.

    • To manually refresh, click Get Shipping Template Data from Amazon in Omnivore.

Important Notes

  • Ensure that the shipping template names in Amazon match exactly with those in Omnivore to avoid discrepancies.

  • Regularly update your templates in Amazon to reflect any changes in your shipping policies.

  • Utilise product groups in Omnivore to apply specific shipping templates to targeted products.
