Overview

Lead Time to Ship is the number of days it takes from receiving an order to dispatching it. By default, the lead time to ship for Onceit is 3 days.


You can change this default in Omnivore using two different methods, depending on whether you want to apply it to all products or just a specific group.


Setup Steps

1. Set Lead Time for All Products

To apply the same lead time to ship for all products:

  1. In Omnivore, go to Settings → Onceit → General.

  2. Scroll to the Lead Time to Ship field and enter the number of days.

  3. Click Save.

  4. Go to the Dashboard and click Upload to Onceit to push the changes.

2. Set Lead Time for a Group of Products

To set a different lead time for a specific group of products (e.g., large or bulky items with longer handling times):

  1. Create the product group:

    • Go to Products → Product Groups and define the group you want to assign a different lead time.

  2. Assign the lead time to the product group:

    • Go to Products → Product Actions.

    • Click the Lead Time to Ship button under Other Product Enhancements.

    • Complete the required fields using the product group you created.

  3. Click Save.

  4. Go to the Dashboard and click Upload to Onceit to apply the new lead time.

    Note: A lead time set via a product group will override the default lead time for those products.
