Download existing list of SKUs from Amazon

Before getting started you will need to download a list of all skus in Amazon whether they are active or inactive. It is important to NOT include your FBA listings if you have them.  Then you will need to zero out Amazon listings.



  1. In your Amazon selling account go to Reports->Inventory Reports
  2. Choose All Listings Report
  3. Select Request Report
  4. When the report is ready it will show on this same page in the Report Status section and will change from Request Submitted to Ready with a Download link
  5. Download and open your file when it is ready. It is likely to be in a .txt file named in this format All+Listings+Report+02-20-2023.txt
  6. To extract your list of SKUs for the next steps you will need to copy the data from the text file into an excel file.
  7. To copy the data in the .txt file you will need to select all, then right-click and copy
  8. Open a new excel file and paste this copied data into the file and save this for the next steps.


Zero all Amazon listings (except FBA)

  1. In your Amazon seller centre account go to Catalogue->Add Products via Upload 
  2. Click the Download Spreadsheet tab and then click on the Get Price & Quantity Template button. 
  3. Click on Download template by Marketplace and if you have more than one Amazon selling region choose Amazon.com.au
  4. You should then have downloaded an excel file named Flat.FilePriceInventory.au.xlsx
  5. Open the downloaded file Flat.FilePriceInventory.au.xlsx 
  6. Into this file you will need to copy the list of every SKU from the seller-sku column from your excel document saved in step 1 that you copied out of you All+Listings+Report+02-20-2023.txt file. This list will need to be copied into the sku column, then completely fill the quantity column with a value of 0. Leave the rest of the columns empty. 
  7. If using Excel click Save As and select the file type to Text file (tab-delimited)(*.txt) 
  8. In your Amazon selling account navigate to Inventory > Add Products via Upload, click the Upload your spreadsheet tab, upload your .txt file and Choose Price & Quantity as the file type you are uploading then click Upload File
  9. It may take some time for Amazon to process this file so you will need to check back.
