When a product with variants lists on Onceit and the OnceIt category does not support variations, such as 'size', then the product listing does not specify which variant the listing is for.  Omnivore has developed a solution for this, we create a separate listing for each variation and append the variation details to the end of each product name.

How it works

In this scenario the following category for Onceit does not accept Size Variants.  Home» Cooking & Dining» Pots & Pans  - so if you are attempting to list in that category and your items have size variants this will apply.

This process happens within Omnivore so your products will be pushed up to Onceit like this.


What do be aware of

  1. This process is governed by the Onceit Category, if the category cannot accept a variant we will apply this structure.
  2. If you are unsure please contact our support team or your Onceit Marketplace Account Manager.
  3. If the Onceit Category cannot accept a variant and the product is not listing in the way described here in this FAQ please send us an example product with the variant type and the category you are trying to list in and we can investigate further.
