Order Errors for THE ICONIC

This article explains a common error you may see when Omnivore attempts to send tracking information to THE ICONIC.


The Error

Error message: All order items must have status Pending or Ready To Ship


This happens when Omnivore tries to push tracking details to THE ICONIC, but the marketplace can’t accept the tracking update because the order is not in a state that allows tracking to be recorded.


For example, if part of the order has already been cancelled or otherwise changed, THE ICONIC may reject the tracking update due to a status mismatch between Omnivore and the marketplace.


How to Fix This Error

1. Turn on Failed Order Alerts

Make sure you receive notifications when this error occurs:

  1. In Omnivore, go to Settings → Account Summary → Contact → Opt In.

  2. Under Default Alerts and Notifications, ensure you’re opted in for order failure alerts.

  3. Add your email address if it’s not already listed.

Once enabled, you’ll get a notification if an order fails for this reason.


2. Check the Order Status in THE ICONIC Seller Centre

Log in to your THE ICONIC Seller Centre and review the order that failed. Most likely, the order’s status no longer matches what Omnivore expects (e.g., a line item has been cancelled or updated).


3. Manually Update the Order

Because Omnivore doesn’t automatically check for order status changes (it only checks for accurate tracking updates), you’ll need to manually correct the order in three systems:

  1. THE ICONIC Seller Centre — manually set the order to Shipped.

  2. Omnivore — find the order in Orders → All Orders and mark it as Manually Fulfilled.

  3. Your eCommerce store — manually set the order as Shipped or Fulfilled so that your store and Omnivore remain in sync.

Summary

This error occurs when THE ICONIC can’t accept a tracking update because the order’s status doesn’t match (e.g., part of the order has been cancelled). To fix it:

  • Enable failed order alerts in Omnivore, so you’re notified.

  • Check the order status in THE ICONIC Seller Centre.

  • Manually update the order to Shipped in THE ICONIC, Omnivore, and your eCommerce platform.
