Overview

This guide explains how to authorise the REST API connection between your THE ICONIC Seller Central account and Omnivore. You will:

  1. Get the required API credentials from THE ICONIC.

  2. Enter them in Omnivore to authorise the integration.

  3. Test the connection to confirm it’s working.


Tip: Before you begin, it’s helpful to be logged into both your THE ICONIC Seller Central account and your Omnivore account, as you’ll need access to both systems during setup.


Step 1 — Get API Credentials from THE ICONIC

  1. Log in to your THE ICONIC Seller Central account.

  2. Follow the instructions in THE ICONIC’s guide here to add a new application.

  3. When you get to Step 4 add the application name of Omnivore.

  4. Complete the rest of the application setup steps.

  5. At the point where the Application ID and Application Secret are displayed, copy both values — you’ll need them for Omnivore.

Step 2 — Add the Credentials in Omnivore

  1. In Omnivore, go to Settings → THE ICONIC → General.

  2. Paste your Application ID and Application Secret into the corresponding fields.

    • Ensure there are no extra spaces before or after the values.

  3. Tick the option to Connect to the ICONIC Production Environment.

  4. Scroll down and click Update Settings to save.



Step 3 — Test the Connection

  1. After saving your settings, use the Test Connection button in Omnivore.

  2. If the connection is successful, Omnivore will display a success message.

  3. If the test fails:

    • Re‑enter your Application ID and Secret (making sure they’re correct).

    • Test again.

    • If it still fails, contact Omnivore Support for help.
