Overview
Our system occasionally raises internal alerts, which may appear on your Amazon Dashboard. This specific alert is related to an issue with your Amazon Seller Account.
If your seller account remains inactive (no sales) for 90 days, Amazon will move it to a dormant status. Once this happens, we cannot upload data to Amazon to keep your product information in sync.
The error you will see on the Dashboard is:
Cannot connect to your Amazon Australia account, the error is: There's a problem connecting to your Amazon account and updating product listings
Next Steps
To resolve the issue follow the instructions below
- Log in to your Amazon seller account.
- Check the status of your account in Seller Central to ensure it is set to "Professional."
- Go to Settings > Account Info > Payment Information > Charge Method and re-enter your credit card information. Even if already entered, this triggers a new review of the account which should reactivate it within 48 hours.
If you have re-entered your payment information, waited the required 48 hours and you are still getting a connection error you will need to reach out to Amazon Seller Support team so they can assist you.
You will need to state that your account has 3PDeactivated status when you contact them.
