Overview


This guide explains how to automatically populate the Key Product Features (bullet points) for your Amazon listings using BigCommerce custom fields in conjunction with Omnivore.


Add the data to the Custom Fields in BigCommerce


  • Log in to BigCommerce and find the product you want to add the bullet points to.
  • Go to the Custom Fields tab
  • In the Custom Field Name field enter product features (capitalisation is not required).
  • In the Custom Field Value field add your bullet point content.
  • Add each bullet point with a | character (aka pipeline) between each point. For example:
     


The example above will give the following Amazon bullet points:

  • 100% Organic Cotton
  • Made in Australia


Extra Information

  • The vertical bar character (aka pipeline) is required if you want to create more than one bullet point. Use the | to separate each bullet point.
  • Amazon accepts up to 5 Key Product Features. Do not enter more than that.
  • If you are already using a Custom Field named Product Features for other purposes and prefer not to use ot for Amazon bullet points, you can create a new custom field named Amazon Product Features. Omnivore will use this field for the Amazon bullet points instead.


Once the data is added in BigCommerce, Omnivore will display the additional information under the Product Attributes section on the full product details page.
