Overview
Managing order cancellations and refunds for Amazon orders requires manual intervention in both Amazon Seller Central, Omnivore and your eCommerce platform. Changes made in Amazon do not automatically update in Omnivore or your eCommerce store.
On Amazon, you can only cancel an unshipped order. If the order is shipped it has be refunded.

Steps in Amazon
- Log in to Amazon, Manage Orders, locate the order and click cancel or refund depending on which process you are following.
- Follow the Amazon process to cancel and if necessary refund the order.
Note, you can do partial refunds in Amazon. Use the above Amazon FAQ as a guide.
It is best to use the Amazon process as you normally would to cancel/refund an order. This change does not flow in to Omnivore.
Steps in Omnivore and eCommerce Store
- Log in to Omnivore, navigate to Orders > All Orders and search for the one you have cancelled.
- Click the Refunded Online button at the top of the order page.
- This will mark it as Refunded in Omnivore, but will not update the order in your eCommerce Store.
- Log in to your eCommerce store, locate the order and complete the cancellation as per the normal process for your eCommerce Platform.
Important Considerations
Manual Process: All steps must be performed manually in Amazon, Omnivore, and your eCommerce store.
No Automatic Updates: Changes made in Amazon do not automatically reflect in Omnivore or your eCommerce platform.
Partial Refunds: Amazon supports partial refunds; ensure you follow the appropriate steps.
