THE ICONIC Onboarding

Set up THE ICONIC Onboarding

Mandatory Onboarding Package to contain the following:

  • Category mapping
  • Marketplace attribute mappings
  • Attribute value mapping
  • Shipping - Tracking/Carrier mappings
  • Colour Mapping
  • Image mapping

Pricing TBC: Hourly rate?? 

Onboarding

  1. Add the marketplace in Omnivore
  2. Connect the store; requires a User ID (usually an email address) and an API key. Check connection. Make sure its connected to pre-prod OR prod depending
  3. Confirm what brand name(s) the retailer has in their contract with The Iconic.  If the brands in the data do not match Iconics list of Brands the brand will show 'UNKNOWN'.  If the Iconic confirms the brand is approved/in their database and the brand still shows as UNKNOWN you will need to refresh the marketplace categories for the Iconic to bring the updated brands into Omnivore.
  4. Do the colour mapping first
  5. Map Products to THE ICONIC categories
  6. Once products are mapped you will see what data is missing
  7. Will need to work with the Retailer to add the Product Attributes and the Values.
    1. Add in ecommerce store eg
    2. Shopify: use Metafields/Tags but can't use both. If use images for metafields. if want to use hero image feature, its with metafields. If using metafields these need to be enabled. turn on metafields in settings – shopify, then do a full import, then map fields, 
    3. They can add them via the Marketplace Attributes tab in Omnivore
  8. Images: Requires a solution from the retailer if images from ecomm platform don't meet The iconic guidelines. 
  9. Product Errors: You won't see the image errors until the product errors are resolved.
  10. Size mapping; you will need to map sizes e.g if retailer sends s but the iconic needs S you will need to set that up.
  11. Shipping Mapping - to send the carrier and tracking to the iconic  

When all errors are resolved can upload listings to pre prod

Iconic staff will check listings and create a test order

retailer can test fulfilling and we can check the tracking goes back to Iconic.

Once Iconic are happy they will advise if we can switch to production

If Iconic are managing images and description.... or if retailer is managing images and description directly on the iconic (check if same process)

 - May need to switch between Prod and Pre Prod to complete test order.

  • Input type – option; combo box/select, Boolean yes no, free text,
  • if its 'BOLDED' then the attribute is mandatory. Same meaning as "true" in the Required column. For the Iconic, Recommended doesn't matter, we just copy the value from Required.
