Scenarios, focus on Shopify integration with ebay.
Batch 1
1. A product with no options, and it remains with no options for the entire life of the product.
2. A product with one option named Colour that has 2 values: Red and Blue. Remains with at least 2 distinct values for the entire life of the product.
3. A product with one option named Colour that today has only one value: Red. Tomorrow a new value is added: Blue.
4. A product with one option named Colour that today has 2 values: Red and Blue. Tomorrow the Blue value is removed in Shopify.
5. A product that today has no options. Tomorrow the retailer adds one option named Colour with 2 values: Red and Blue.
6. A product that today has one option named Colour with 2 values: Red and Blue. Tomorrow the retailer removes the option in Shopify, ie it becomes like use case 1.
Batch 2
Instead of the option named Colour have an option that is neither Colour or Size, let's call it Flavour.
Go thorough scenarios 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 again.
Batch 3
Instead of one option, have 2 options.
Address the use case where one option has the same value in all variants.
Address the use case where both options have the same value in all variants.
For all scenarios above, answer these questions:
1. Should the product be listed as a single-sku or multi-sku format?
Keep in mind that visually a multi-sku listing in eBay will have a drop-down (select box) with values to chose from.
Also, keep in mind that on ebay, to go from single-sku to multi-sku or viceversa, the existing listing must be ended.
2. Should any manual intervention be required from a human using Omnivore to adjust what we do at question 1?
Ie clicking a button in Omnivore?
3. How are item specifics populated?
