Subtitles + Freezing + Disable Bopis
Review Subtitles + Freezing + Disable BOPIS
This covers what Support can do when Bing Lee have a promotion that requires:
- Subtitles.
- Freezing Products
- Disable BOPIS.
In most cases these types of promotions will be for some (not all SKUs), the Bing Lee team will give you the SKU's and each SKU will have its own unique Subtitle.
Step 1:
Create a product groups for each SKU
Create a custom subtitle for each SKU
Apply the group to the subtitle.
If the subtitle has a $ or any other symbol that needs to be escaped.
EG Only $385 With Code PROTECT. T&Cs apply
it would have to be - Only \$ 385 With Code PROTECT. T&Cs apply
Step 2:
Give Dev the SKU's and ask them to Disable BOPIS. See ticket example.
See note from Ivan on BOPIS
Step 3
With BOPIS disabled Upload to eBay Australia one by one and as they upload check on eBay that the Subtitles are appearing as they should for each SKU.
Step 4
Once you are happy the SKU's with no bopis and subtitles are on the market, have eBay check too. At this stage we have not frozen the products so we still control them.
Step 5
On each product in Omnivore click the Stop Updating in Marketplace button.
Inform eBay the process is complete.
Update the ticket.
Step 6
To remove the subtitle. Resume update-stop on each product page so that we can update the product.
Push a blank Subtitles for each SKU. A blank subtitle is a space.
Make sure the Subtitles are removed on the market.
As Dev to enable BOPIS on each SKU
Do an upload to market to complete the process.
Update eBay that the subtitles have been removed, this can be done via the ticket so the retailer is also included.
Update the ticket notes if required.
