How to get a MyDeal seller account


Onboarding Process

  • Retailer gets intro to My Deal for an account either via email or via the online sign up 
  • Creates a sales force entry, gets assigend to huss or an onboarding integration manager. Every retailer gets an onboarding/integration manager
  • Seller ID and Token are generated by their MyDeal Onboarding manager and they provide that to the retailer.
  • Shipping is set up in MyDeal and in Omnivore. Onboarding Manager helps retailer with the set up on the MyDeal side - its done with spreadsheets.  Generate custom shipping IDs if they use tables. Use theh custom shipping id in Omnivore.
  • MyDeal Onboarding Manager do an intro to Omnivore.
  • Retailer has MyDeal added in Omnivore/installs app etc
  • Goes through set up checklist
  • Push products to MyDeal and either retailer or Omnivore to notify MyDeal that products have been pushed up 
  • MyDeal review products and provide any feedback if changes required., What does it look like if a product doesn’t get approved? Show in error
  • Go live
  • Onboarding manager at MyDeal hands over to the account manager at MyDeal, Receive an onboarding welcome email.

Retailers with Existing Listings

  • Notify account manager, disapprove existing listings on mydeal side first then handle integration as normal. Advise account manager to be involved as have historical sales data.  

Support etc

  • If need to add MyDeal to a ticket: am@mydeal.com.au
  • Every retailer gets an account manager once up and running
  • https://sellerhelp.mydeal.com.au/hc/en-us for seller support content and to raise tickets.
  • Retailer gets access to Seller Portal of MyDeal. Doing some upgrades to it, basic functions for now. Overview of sales, view payments, remittances, manage customer as well.  After they go live they get access to it. Advise stick to Omnivore to make changes to listings.
