Custom retailer integrations

Custom means anything that is not one of:

• Bigcommerce
• Shopify
• Woocommerce
• Magento 1 or 2
• Maropost
• Marketplacer
• Omnivore v2 Api

Sometimes custom can also be a combination of the above, eg: products come from Shopify but the orders are using the Omnivore API.

For all custom integrations, these questions must be asked and answered:

1. How are the products imported from the retailer into Omnivore? File, api, sftp, http, authentication, etc
2. Is inventory (aka quantity) a separate concern? Eg: updated more often than the products in a separate feed?
3. How are the orders imported from Omnivore into the retailer system?
4. How are the order updates imported from the retailer into Omnivore?
5. What are the type of order updates, ie:

• Shipping info 
• Cancellation
• Refunds

The best solution and the effort involved in the custom integration can be estimated only when the answers are known.
