Coles Grocery Feed Files
Review Coles Grocery Feed Files
Coles Grocery integrates via SFTP into the following accounts on sftp.citybeachsoftware.com:
coles - original integration, product feed files
colesgrocery - new integration, files from the original integration are being cut over into here one by one
colesreporting - contains the aggregated menu marketplace reports that we collate from Uber Eats and DoorDash, formatted into Coles' reporting data warehouse format
The coles product feed comprises the following files:
EBAY_PRODUCT_
EBAY_PRODUCT_SOH_
EBAY_SALES_CATALOG_GROUPS_
EBAY_SALES_CATALOG_PRODUCTS_
EBAY_PRODUCT_UPC_
EBAY_PRODUCT_ATTRIBUTES_
All files come from Datastage except EBAY_PRODUCT_SOH which is supplied by RAFE (Icespice).
Coles product feed runs once a day at 18:00 UTC - if a file is not updated in time, it will miss the processing window and generate a feed alert to Omnivore Support to investigate, with a subject like PRODUCTION The product feed synch for Coles has failed - to debug, complete the following steps:
- Log into the sftp account and establish when the last version of that file was uploaded into the /product subdirectory
- If the file was just late, then trigger a re-run of the product import from the Coles dashboard
- If the file is missing then raise with Coles internal support team to query late file or non-existence of the file, their email is COLITSupport@Coles.com.au

Product business rules:
A product needs to be in both the EBAY_PRODUCT and EBAY_PRODUCT_SOH file to be created and listed.
Products with 0% markup, use the in-store POS price rather than the usual online price.
Products are subject to a default 10% markup universally unless changed using a product group.
Products are also rounded up to 5c.
Pricing Transformations: (see attached with examples
Products are provided with a retailer category which is not retained by Omnivore and as such can fluctuate from a product category to a promo category which in turn breaks any product group mark up / promos.
Global Taxonomy is applied to the mapped category Omnivore pushes to Uber. This means that what is mapped in Omnivore may not match where the product is mapped on Uber.
-Dynamic categories are an algorithm that processes across all products and promotes certain categories and sub categories to increase conversion. (again Omnivore has no influence over these)
Global product content is applied to all product listings and is sourced from external product data sources. This means that the product data supplied by Omnivore may not be reflected on the Uber store. Applies to title, description, attributes and images.
Latest release (21/05/26) includes the following UI changes - add "delete all store inventory" on a product's store inventory page; export sideloaded products to CSV from the Products > Import from CSV page; add the ability to set aisle/bay/shelf planogram data in sideloaded store inventory CSVs
