Category Mapping Requests

Configure Category Mapping Requests

We can provide Category Mapping services to retailers on request or you can offer them to them.

Cost:

  • $60/hour plus GST

Process

  1. Confirm with the Retailer that they are willing to pay for the mapping services.
  2. Create a Trello Card on the Onboarding board: https://trello.com/b/jbJejjoq/omnivore-onboarding under the bucket 'Requires Mapping' - use the Retailers name for the title of the card
  3. In the Trello card you must provide:
    • Retailer name and the marketplace(s) that need to be mapped
    • Links to the Category Mapping page(s) of the marketplace 
    • Add your name to the members so you receive alerts and updates on when its ready
    • Add the names of mappers to the card so they are alerted that there is a new mapping request - Current mappers are Maya and Andreea 
    • In the comments, ask the Mapper to please provide the total number of hours that it took to map the products so that we can charge the customer
  4. When the mapping is started the card will be moved to the Mapping in progress bucket
  5. When the mapping is complete create an invoice for the Retailer and let them know its completed.

NB: When using Trello to communicate, try to use @ then the name of the mapper so they receive notificaitons. There is also a Category Mapping slack channel to communicate mapping.
