Firstly, Let Us Know About Your Sale
Please let us know that you are having a sale! This really helps us be aware of products and order volumes that may spike.
You can contact our support team with the following info:
- Marketplace /s - Sale Type - Name of the promotion in Omnivore - Type of Promotion - Sale Start and End Date - Your contact point - Questions you may have.
- If your Sale is for one product or a group of products, and high order volumes are likely please includes these specific products when you contact us.
Additional setting can be enabled by our support team if we know in advance that a High Volume Sale is scheduled.
Best Practice Strategies
- Contact us and provide the information as mentioned above.
- Ask our support team to enable some additional temporary setting for the duration of the sale.
- Check quantity/stock levels in your eCommerce Platform
- Check any marketplace settings you can use to stop sale when the listings reach a certain inventory level.
- Send a specific inventory amount to the marketplace so the stock is decremented from their during the sale period.
- Monitor orders for the first hour of the sale to ensure all is as expected.
