Amazon Repricer Feature - internal

Manage Amazon Repricer Feature - internal

The Amazon repricer feature allows sellers to set the price directly on Amazon, this means we don't send price in the feed, i.e. the price is blocked.

  • The feature is ON or OFF.
  • If it is ON it applies to all Amazon listings, at this stage it cannot be set by product group.
  • All newly added products in the eCommerce Store will be imported into Omnivore and pushed to Amazon with the set price for the first time. This is required in order to build and validate the new products into an active listing.

Setup Process

  1. Navigate to Settings - Amazon - General.
  2. Tick 'Don't Send Pricing'.
  3. This Screen Capture means Amazon Repricer is set to OFF. e8p7mVlL_-ZfODRf6YbLICHJgP4KifNQWA
  4. This Screen Capture shows Amazon Repricer is set to ON which means we have blocked price in the feed.G7oPHCj50YT4LFDqgqydoixEajCp_szILQ
  5. Click Save/Update at the bottom of the settings page and click Upload to Amazon from the Dashboard.
  6. This means that the seller must now set the price directly on Amazon.
  7. Orders that flow back into Omnivore will show the product price that we have.

The product in Omnivore will show this alert next to the Amazon price which indicates Amazon Repricer is set to ON.

Troubleshooting & Key Points

  • After this feature is turned 'ON' the price we will see in the omnivore data will be the last price we sent.
  • We will not be able to see the live price in the feed, only via the listing which will show the adjusted price set by the seller.
  • If you turn this feature OFF the price we will push up in the feed will be the last price we imported from the eCommerce Store.
  • A technical session with Werner is still required to flesh out specific questions about:
    • new products
    • when we turn it OFF, what if a product is Block Listed, what happens if it is then unblocked do we push up a price in the feed again as part of the unblocking process or does the 'not blocked' product status continue to obey the price block setting.
