Introduction
Note: Shopify users can use the Omnivore app to access Trade Me. Please continue to install the Omnivore app and choose which version you would like. A free version of Omnivore that only connects to Trade Me OR a paid version of Omnivore which connects to Trade Me and other marketplaces.
Before you start selling you will need to set up a Trade Me account. Please take a look at our Trade Me Set Up Checklist
Installation
To install the app and complete setup please follow these instructions:
- Go to https://apps.shopify.com/omnivore and click 'Add app'
- Click 'Install app'
- You will be asked to 'Approve' the Omnivore app usage charges. Please note you will not be charged for this app if you are using it just for Trade Me.
- Accept the Terms and Conditions.
- Choose your Account Type, to just sell on Trade Me select the first option. or the 2nd option for Multi-Marketplace which is a paid plan.
- If you choose the 1st option to just sell on Trade Me this ensures that you won't be charged for Omnivore.
- To allow Omnivore to connect to Trade Me now click the "Link account" button, to go to Trade Me, this will prompt you to login using your Trade Me username/email address and password. You will then be redirected back to Omnivore.
- You can also choose to click Next at this step and connect Omnivore to Trade Me later on. Clicking Next will continue the setup wizard and give you the opportunity to connect to Trade Me from your new Omnivore Account.
