Myer Marketplace Brand Requirements and Brand Mapping
How Myer brand approval works and what to do when your website brand does not exactly match.
-
Before products can be listed on Myer Marketplace, the brand must be available in Myer's marketplace backend system.
-
If you want to sell products under a new brand, the brand must first be added by Myer Marketplace before products using that brand can be submitted.
-
You must be approved to sell that brand by the Myer Marketplace team.
Brand approval on Myer Marketplace
-
Myer Marketplace uses predefined brand values within its Marketplace platform.
-
If the brand you want to use is not already available, and you have approval to list this brand, contact your Myer Marketplace Account Manager and ask for the brand to be added to Mirakl.
-
Once the brand has been added, the brand supplied with your product data must match the Myer brand value exactly.
Brand name formatting requirements
The brand sent from Omnivore must match the brand configured by Myer Marketplace exactly.
This includes:
- Capitalisation
- Spaces
- Punctuation
- Spelling
- The complete brand name
For example, if the Myer Marketplace brand is:
Coastal Forge
the following values would not be an exact match:
- COASTAL FORGE
- CoastalForge
- Coastal Forge Shoes
Even where the difference appears minor, Myer Marketplace requires the product to use the correct brand value.
When your website brand does not match the Myer Marketplace brand
The brand on your website may be formatted differently from the brand configured in Myer Marketplace.
For example:
Website brand: COASTALFORGE
Myer brand: Coastal Forge
Omnivore can manually map your website brand to the exact brand value required by Myer Marketplace.
If you need a brand mapping added or changed, contact Omnivore Support and provide:
- The brand currently shown on your website
- The exact brand name required by Myer Marketplace
Omnivore Support can then configure the brand mapping so the correct Myer Marketplace brand is sent with your product data.
