What Product Is Inactive Means in Omnivore

Understand why products show as inactive in Omnivore.

If a product in Omnivore shows as inactive, it means the product cannot currently be listed or sold on the marketplace. This status indicates that something in the product data is incomplete or preventing the listing from being active.

 

It can also mean that the product is no longer able to be imported and updated or it may not  be visible in your eCommerce Store.  More reading here.

 

We will not make the product active again until the product has changed in your eCommerce store and this change will be picked up via a webhook.

 

Common Reasons a Product Is Inactive

  1. Missing Images
    Marketplaces require at least one image for each product. Ensure that your product has images showing in Omnivore.

  2. Missing Title or Description
    The product must have a valid title and description. Listings without these will be flagged as inactive.

  3. Hidden Products
    The product is hidden in your eCommerce store.
