Sell on Myer Marketplace with Omnivore: Retailer Setup Guide

Before You Begin
Before starting your setup, ensure your Myer Marketplace Seller Account is setup, active and approved by the Myer Marketplace team. Review the steps below to prepare for selling on the Myer Marketplace Marketplace.

Make sure your Myer Marketplace Seller Account is correctly set up.
Omnivore must be authorised to connect to your Myer Marketplace account. Follow the connection steps provided in the support guide.

Sellers With Existing Listings
If you already have products listed on Myer Marketplace, refer to our guidelines to check whether Omnivore can link to those listings.
This must be completed before you click "Start Selling" in Omnivore.
Product Identifiers and Required Attributes
All products listed on Myer Marketplace require a UPC/EAN identifier. Omnivore imports these automatically from your ecommerce store.
If you use Magento or WooCommerce, ensure your product identifier fields are correctly mapped during setup.
Myer Marketplace will require a number of different attributes for each product which will vary based on the category that the products are mapped to. There are a number of different ways these attributes can be populated in Omnivore.

Choosing Products to List
Select a Myer Marketplace category for every product you want to list. Our Category Mapping how to guide provides full details.
If you don't want to list certain products, you can block them or leave their Myer Marketplace category unassigned. Blocking can be done by individual product, brand, or keyword.
All products and offers must be approved by Myer Marketplace Account Managers before going live.
Pricing
You can create promotions in Omnivore to adjust product pricing across single or multiple items.
International sellers may choose to set custom exchange rates in: Settings -> Currencies.
Shipping

After completing your shipping setup in Myer Marketplace, link Omnivore to your shipping classes by following the detailed steps in our support article.
You can create Product Groups in Omnivore and assign them to different shipping classes if required.
Stock Buffer
If you carry low stock and want to reduce overselling risk, set up a stock buffer under:
Settings -> Administration -> Product Import.
Image Requirements
Myer Marketplace requires product images to be at least 600 x 600 pixels. Images smaller than this will not display.
There is a requirement to have a minimum of 2 images per product. Products with just one image will not list on Myer Marketplace.
Size Charts
If your products require size charts:
- Create a Product Group in Omnivore
- Go to Products -> Product Actions -> Create Size Chart
- Provide the required information, including a URL-hosted image of your size chart. Full setup guide can be found here.
Product Condition
Product condition maps directly:
new -> new
If your product condition is anything other than 'new' please contact our Support Team for assistance.
Colour Mapping
If your products come in different colours you will need to map them to the nearest Myer Marketplace marketplace colour name.
Testing Before Launch
Testing your ecommerce connection
Go to Settings -> Feeds -> General and click Test Connection.
You should see "API connection successful" when complete.
Testing your order flow
Open a product page, scroll to marketplace product details, and click Send Test.
A test order will be created in your ecommerce system with no payment attached.
Fulfil and refund the order as normal.
Then mark it as "Refunded Online" in Omnivore.
Customer Email Addresses
Myer Marketplace does not provide customer email addresses with orders. If your ecommerce platform requires an email address, set a default under:
Settings -> Myer Marketplace -> General -> Default Order Email
Use this format:
${order_id}@
or
${order_id}@Myer Marketplace.com.au
Contact our Support Team if you cannot access this setting.
Final Checks Before Clicking "Start Selling"
Make sure the following are completed in Omnivore:
- Myer Marketplace account connection is set up
- Product categories are mapped
- Shipping configuration is complete
- Key Selling Points are added
- Unwanted products are excluded
- No unresolved listing errors appear in the Dashboard
- If you think have missed anything check in with our Support Team so they can check for you.
