An Existing Trade Me Account

For questions about connecting your existing Trade Me account and Trade Runner contact traderunner@trademe.co.nz. 

To set up your Trade Me Account you will have to contact the Trade Me Team directly.  There are certain steps and checks within Trade Me that they will complete for you.  This includes info about fees and payments.


To connect and authorise Trade Runner or Omnivore to Trade Me you will need your Trade Me username and password.

Even if you already have an active Trade Me account there are very specific settings within Trade Me that have to be considered when using Trade Runner or Omnivore.  If you contact Trade Me and let them know that you are using our App they will know the steps that are required.

  1. You must have a Trade Me account with username and password set up.
  2. You will need a Trade Me Pay Now account (like having a PayPal account) for you to receive payments from sales on Trade Me.   4. You will need to authorise Omnivore to access your Trade Me account during the set up process. There is a prompt in the Dashboard if this is not done.  This article here covers the authorisation steps.
