How Do I Setup Kogan First Pricing

Add Kogan First pricing to eligible product listings.

The Kogan First program is designed to increase the visibility of your products on Kogan by giving Kogan Members exclusive access and promotions.

Key benefits include:

  • Kogan Members can filter and search specifically for Kogan First eligible products.
  • Products can participate in Kogan First-exclusive promotions.
  • Available on both Kogan AU and Kogan NZ.

Eligibility Requirement
Your products must offer the greater of $2 or 3% off the non-member price.

Omnivore sends Kogan the following pricing details for each eligible product:

  • Recommended Retail Price (RRP)
  • Sale Price
  • Kogan First Price

How Kogan First Pricing Appears

On the Kogan product listing, the Kogan First price is displayed as a special discounted price for members, clearly showing the saving compared to the standard sale price.

   

How to Set Up Kogan First in Omnivore

  1. Create a Product Group
    • Navigate to Products -> Product Groups in the left-hand menu.
    • Define the products you want to make eligible for Kogan First. See here for how to create a group.
  2. Create Kogan First Eligible Product Action
    • Go to Products -> Product Actions.
    • Click Create Kogan First Eligible Product.
    • Select the site: Kogan AU or Kogan NZ.
    • Complete the required fields, choosing whether to discount by a % or a $ amount.
    • Ensure the discount is a minimum of $2 OR 3% off the Sale Price.

    • Click Save
  3. Upload to Kogan
      • Navigate to the Kogan Dashboard.
      • Click Upload to Kogan to push the eligible products.

Important Pricing Notes

  • Kogan First pricing must meet the greater of $2 or 3% off the Sale Price.
  • The $2 minimum only meets the 3% requirement for products priced up to approximately $67.
  • For products priced above $68, a $2 discount will result in less than a 3% discount meaning the products will not qualify for Kogan First pricing.

Recommended Setup for Different Price Ranges:

  1. Product Group 1: Max price $67 -> Kogan First Product Action with $2 discount.
  2. Product Group 2: Min price $68 -> Kogan First Product Action with 3% discount.

Validation Errors:
If you see the error:

"Kogan First price must be at least 3% or $2 off"

Check the product price.

Products above $67 require the 3% discount to meet Kogan First requirements.
