Add an Order Prefix to Define your Marketplace orders

Add prefixes to Magento marketplace order IDs.

This article is for Magento v2.3 and above

Overview

  • This feature enables you to add a prefix to the Order Id that is sent to Magento
  • Its useful if you want to better identify the marketplace that the order originates from.

How to Setup Guide

 

  1. In Omnivore, go to Settings - Magento2 Feed - Marketplace Config and go to the Magento Order Prefix section
  2. Choose the Marketplace e.g eBay from the drop down then enter a combination of letters or numbers that you want to use. e.g you can just add ebay 
  3. Omnivore will auto add a "-" after your Prefix e.g. if you input "ebay" we will add "ebay-" before your Magento order number.
  4. Click 'Create' 
  5. Do this for each marketplace as required, when your orders are sent to Magento they will be prefixed with these values.
